Watercolour

I started painting using acrylics and collage but when I discovered watercolour, I just fell in love with it! Watercolour is so versatile but also unpredictable which is why I love it: you never know quite what you are going to get until it is dry. It’s allowed me to embrace imperfection and I have found that so freeing for me as an artist. If you have never tried watercolour, buy a cheap set and give it a go! There are tons of online tutorials & books to get you started but mostly it’s just practice and experience as to what you like and what works best for you. I combine watercolour with ink and coloured pencil.
